Massage Therapy

Swedish massage is the standard massage of all RMTs. Pressure and specific techniques can vary, but it's defined as “the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain.”


Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder technique) is a gentle, non-invasive manual technique that encourages lymph flow from the tissues to the lymph nodes. MLD is used to ease swelling and relieve discomfort, specifically post-injury and during pregnancy. Treatments generally combine both MLD and some massage, and will focus on 1-2 areas of concern.

Prenatal massage is a safe and effective way to treat the aches and pains of pregnancy. Treatment will focus on leg, hip and back pain, but your therapist will work with you to ensure the treatment addresses your needs specifically. Once you're ready, post-natal massage offers relief from the aches and pains that come during the first few weeks of taking care of your new baby. Your therapist works with you to make sure you're comfortable, and you may choose to continue treatment in the side lying position, or remain on your back for the length of treament.

Baylea is a graduate of the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy and is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Marion is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CMTO with over 15 years of experience, specializing in women’s health and perinatal care. After starting her career in sports rehab, working with professional athletes, she expanded her expertise into CNS and neurological rehabilitation at Lyndhurst. For the past decade, Marion has focused on fertility, perinatal care, and breast health, driven by her personal journey with infertility and her passion for maternal care. As one of the few RMTs with specialized training in breast health, she has published research through UHN’s Princess Margaret Breast Care Centre. Marion provides a safe space for everyone at all stages of their journey. She listens deeply to her clients and offers a personalized, compassionate approach to treatment. Certified in pediatric massage, Marion also leads infant massage workshops for new parents and is currently expanding her practice by training as a fertility support practitioner.
